I made this game for the A Game By Its Cover 2020 Game Jam in about four weeks. Being a big fan of alternative controllers, seeing the cartridge in the Famicase exhibition sparked my interest in designing an alt control game playable by anyone without the specific hardware.

Dude, do you actually need to use a trackball?
Anything can be a trackball if you try hard enough.. check out the opening cutscene 0.0

This is really neat, I love the concept of this being a demo game for the trackball, and those win 9x aesthetics are on point. The control scheme was a bit confusing at first since I was playing on a laptop and thus didn’t use the keyboard-ball combo, but I eventually figured it out.
